Our standard points progression as a tournament goes into the knockout stages is as follows:
Group stages: 1 Win Point
Quarter Finals (and qualifiers): 1.5 Win Points
Semi Finals (and third place playoff): 2 Win Points
Final: 3 Win Points.
All other points remain constant, with the exception of the Grand Slam Points and defaults not being used for knockout rounds.
The above may differ slightly depending on the tournament length or format, but as a general rule of thumb, this is what you can expect for most tournaments on SuperBru.
Please note that the 2018 World Cup uses a standardized Win Point throughout the season and the points remain constant throughout the tournament with no increases towards the final.
